Indoor Air Quality Testing

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) has a huge impact on our general health and wellbeing. Unfortunately, many pollutants can lower your Indoor air quality such as mold and or other particles.

Here’s some more information about what could be polluting your indoor air and what Schenectady NY Mold assessors can provide to resolve your indoor air quality issues.

Testing for Mold

Mold is a common cause of reduced indoor air quality. When suspected mold is present there are a few ways for us to determine if its present. A visual inspection can be conducted of your home. If suspect mold is discovered we can visually confirm it is mold and or sample test if needed. If the suspected mold in question is in a different room (attic or crawl space etc) other then your habital space, Schenectady Mold Assesssors can perform air sample testing toconfirm if mold spores are present within your habital space. it will also allow you to determine the types of mold found and spore count within the areas sampled.

Some molds are impact our health more than others, so a proper air test is necessary. With a Mold Spore report, you will understand how the amount of mold spores are within the tested area. After all, when airborne, these spores can be inhaled directly into your lungs.

If there are an abundance of mold spores, that may indicate a growing and repoducing mold source within the structure. Air sampling should be considered to either eliminate the possiblity of mold within your home or confirm that it is present and in what areas problems are occuring in.
